Now for my creation.  It's been a hot minute since I did any kind of scrapbook page and I have so, so many pictures of Tia our newest addition (December 1st 2017).  I figured Cuddles the Puppy would be a perfect stamp set to use.  I decided Tia will get a mini (8 x 8) album so I decided to go that size.   I used one of the stamps and a sentiment from the set.  I stamped the image and sentiment with Kraftin Kimmie Wicked Black ink.   I colored image with Copics- Bowl- R59, R37, R35, and N1 for the dog.  I added some red dots from the Kraftin Kimmie Basic Dots to the top and bottom right corners.

Check out some incredible inspiration from the Krafty Design Team below, then join us for all the fun!!

Studio Light - So Spring Stamp, Happy with 7 Kids Crafts

Happy Friday!   Today I am back with another fun card featuring flowers, our featured vendor/product this month over at 7 Kids Crafts, and all items in the featured vendor category are 20% off with code FLOWERS.

For this card I used Studio Light - So Spring Stamp, Happy, which when I checked availability this morning appears to be out of stock however there are other great stamp sets that you could do similar with.

I started by using a stencil and Platinum Crackle texture paste I had gotten from 7 Kids.

And a closer view of the crackle.  I love how this looks with the black.    When I checked the shop it appears this is also out of stock however you could use the Tim Holtz crackle paint.

I then stamped my image with Copic friendly black ink and began coloring

Copics used:

Greens: YG67, YG21, YG13, YG09, YG06, YG03
Pinks: RV25, RV10, RV06, RV04

Once I had the image colored I fussy cut out as I just wanted the flower.

I then used the A2 Layers Combo Dies from the Stamp Doctor to cut my mats.

Next I popped my image up with foam tape.

Lastly I added my sentiment with the edges inked to bring out more of the pink and a few enamel dots added the finishing touches.

I hope you enjoyed!   See you soon!

Work it Wednesday! with The Stamp Doctor

Today I am back with a new series, Work it Wednesday.  Every week I will have a step by step tutorial for a card made with The Stamp Doctor products.

This week I am using the Dog Gone Dog Combo

Other The Stamp Doctor products used:   A2 Layers Combo and Tags #1

I started by cutting my white base with the A2 Layers combo

I then used a brick wall stencil and some grey ink (Lawn Fawn) and created my background

The result

Next I stamped and cut my images from the Dog Gone Dog Combo.

I colored the images with Copic Markers:

Reds: R59, R37, R35
Greens: G07, G05, G03
Dog: E31, E33, E35
House top: C5, C3, C1

And cut my tag with the Tags #1 Die set and stamped my sentiment

Next I added some foam tape to the back of my images.....

However before I took the backing off I placed and did not like the flatness of the background.   I hand cut a hill out of brown cardstock and decided I liked that better.   I placed all of my images and after inking the edges of the sentiment with Kraftin Kimme Ink.  I added a few metal embellishments to each side of the tag.

Next I cut a few more layers with the A2 Layers Combo.

Once I had these I assembled my layers.

I then added the dog bowl to the envelope

I hope you enjoyed!

See you soon!

Hoodie: R85, R83, R81
Jeans: B97, B95, B93, B91

I cut my my base layers (all but the last mat) with my A2 Layers Combo from The Stamp Doctor.

I added some Doodlebug Glitter Enamel dots in the Hello Collection and a white paper doily.  Lastly I type my sentiment and added a birthday embellishment from my stash.

Valentine's tag topper card from The Stamp Doctor

Today I am back with a fun card tutorial with the 3" Tag topper die from The Stamp Doctor.

First choose your tag topper and paper.

Place your die on your paper and run through your die cutting machine.

Here you can see the cut out part.

Line up your edge with your paper trimmer and trim the one side.

Next flip and trim the other side.

Now you have your tag.

Next I inked the edges of the tag and cut down a piece of pattern paper and cardstock to add to the tag and inked as well.

I wanted to add a bit more so I cut a paper doily down and also inked the edges.

Once everything was inked I assembled my tag.

Next I cut my card mats.   I used the A2 Layers Combo.  The middle mat I cut and then trimmed down.  I plan to make several of these so I can use the other pieces.

I inked my pattern paper for the card and assembled.  Now I have my card base and tag.  I cut the length of my tag down to fit a bit better on my card.

I adhered my tag down to my card.

Now I can add an image or sentiment to the card.

For this one I used Arrow Words 1.

I cut a small piece of white cardstock and stamped the word love.

Next I inked the sentiment strip with red ink.

Lastly I added some foam tape to the sentiment to pop it up a bit.

I adhered the sentiment down and now I have a cute fun card.

I hope you enjoyed!

See you soon!
