Spooky Night with La-La Land Crafts

 Happy Monday!   Today Team Monday is back with the theme of Spooky.   I decided to play with Halloween Frenchie.  

I stamped the Halloween Frenchie Rubber Stamp on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

I colored with Spectrum Noir Illustrators:

Frenchie: MB1, MB2, MB3, MB4, PP3
Cape and Eye Mask: PV1, PV2, PV3, PV4
Pumpkin Basket: OR1, OR2, OR3, B04, GY1, GY3, GY5
Toys: AG1, AG2, AG3, GY1, GY3, BG1, DR1, DR3
White Gel Pen


I ink blended the night sky with 
 Tim Holtz Distress Oxides: Black Soot, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire 

Distress Ink: Cracked Pistachio and White Gel Pen

I used the Halloween House Add on Die- for the trees and the pumpkins.

I pulled the barn from the May 2020 La-La Land Crafts Club Kit as I saw an old spooky barn in my head.  I even added one door slightly wonky to give the look of old and dilapidated.

I used the Double Stitched Hills Border Die to create my hills.

I added the Spooky Fence die behind my Frenchie.  

I used the Long Flags Die to do the sentiment.  I added a few enamel dots to the side.

Lastly I used the Boo Die with Black and Purple Glitter Paper. 

I love how this card turned out!

Headphones Marci and Rockstar Luka

 Hey all!   I am back with another fun card with this week's Music Theme over at La-La Land Crafts.

Headphones Marci and Rock Star Luka are teaming up for today's card.

I colored the images with Spectrum Noir Illustrators:

Skin: FS2, FS6, FS7, FS8, DP1

Hair: TN1, TN3, TN5, TN7, TN9

Lips: BP1, BP3

Shirt: BP1, BP3, BP4, BP5, BT1, BT3

Skirt, hair ties: BT1, BT3, BT5, BT7

Socks, Headphones: BP1, BP3, BP5

Shoes: IG1, IG3, IG5, IG7

White Gel Pen

I used Blender liquid and a terry cloth towel to add texture to Marci's skirt.

I used glossy accents on the heart on her shirt.

Now for Rock Star Luka:

Skin: FS2, FS6, FS7, FS8

Hair: EB1, EB3, EB5, EB7

Hoodie: AB1, AB2, AB3

Guitar: CG1, CG3, CG5, GT1, GT2, GT3

White Gel Pen

I used a Copic Liner and created a t-shirt under the hoodie and shaded with BG1 and my colorless blender.

I used the Scalloped Rectangles die to create a slimline die.

I then cut a layer with white cardstock and used the Everything is Rosy stencil and Spectrum Noir Water Reactive Ink in Fuschia and Parakeet to create a background.

Next I used the Hello Lovely Background Stamp and embossed with White embossing powder.

Next I inked with the same Fuschia Ink as before, then a bit of black ink,

I cut the Nested Frames Large dies, along with the Music Notes Border die with blue glitter cardstock.

Lastly I used the Retro TV die from August's Club La-La Land Craft kit.

On the Farm Marci from La-La Land Crafts

Happy Wednesday!   Today I am back with a fun card featuring On the Farm Marci from La-La Land Crafts.

I have a special love for this one because it brings back so many memories.   My great-great grandparents homesteaded here in Eastern Colorado and my family still has the farm.  Growing up meant many trips to the farm.  Playing in the dirt and looking at all of the cows, chickens, pigs and more.    Today my great Uncle still has the farm, and although only chickens remain every time we visit the country it brings me back to those days.   The hill my brother and I played on isn't as big as it was when we were kids, and things are a bit more run down but it's still such a happy place.

I printed Marci on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest card and cut her out with my Scan N Cut.

I colored her with Spectrum Noir Illustrators

FS2, FS6, FS7, FS8

DR2, DR4, DR5, DR7

TB2, TB2, TB4, TB7, TB9

GY1, GY3, GY4, 

CT1, CT3

EB1, EB2, EB4, EB7

AP1, AP3

LG1, LG3, LG5

I used my TB markers to create a plaid effect then used a white gel pen to add some dimension in.

I used the Scalloped Rectangle Dies, Stitched Elements Dies as well as the small half doily die.

I popped my oval from the Stitched Elements Die up with Foam tape.

I used the Echo Park Down on the Farm paper pad for the patterns as well as the 2 signs on the card- which I added Doodlebug mini paper clips to.  I used bazzil and doodlebug cardstock from my stash.

A few enamel dots from my stash finished off the card.
