First up Longest Yard Jude.   I love this image because Fall in our house is all about College and Pro football.   Well at least for the Hubby.

Texture and non-traditional colors

I just love how traditional Christmas colors pair with non-traditional, like this blue.

I used liquid applique for the fur on the hat and tail.   I colored him up with my copics, and finished off with enamel dots from Stampin Up.

Graveyard visit

Happy Sunday.  Time for another fun stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I used Doodlebug pattern paper, Halloween Parade, Bazzil cardstock, black and white bakers twine and misc embellishments. I used Hero Arts Black ink pad and a clear spectrum noir maker to add some shimmer to the image.

Halloween Fun

I can not believe that Halloween is just a few weeks away!!!

Today I am sharing my latest card featuring Haunted House from Rubbernecker stamps.

I embossed the image with black embossing powder and used bazzil cardstock and Hocus Pocus pattern paper from Bella Blvd.  I embellished with Nuvo Crystal Drops and Celebrate it Ribbon.

Trick or Treat

When I was kid trick or treating meant going to the school my Grandma worked at and doing their Trick or Treat Street.  It was such a good memory, which is why I love this stamp set!  Halloween Set 2 is so very versatile with 4 images and many sentiments.

Boo Frickity Hoo

I love September because I am all about Fall and Halloween is just around the corner.  I have always loved everything about Halloween.

Today I share a tag I made featuring Witch Silhouette found here: http://www.rubbernecker.com/index.php/witch-silhouette-938.html and loved the sentiment http://www.rubbernecker.com/index.php/boo-frickety-hoo.html as I could just see the witch saying that as she rode by. 

I decided to do a tag, embossed the image and sentiment on Copic Xpress It cardstock (I like to emboss on this cardstock as it comes out so crisp) and used Midnight Velvet Embossing Powder from Lindy's Gang.   Some cardstock I pulled from my stash and washi tape (From the Target Dollar Spot) add the extra touches.   I spider I dipped in purple glitter adds the finishing touches,   along with some fabric ribbon and a broom embellishment from Tim Holtz.

I also distressed the edges of the layers for the witch and inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink Seedless Preserves and Peeled paint.

Happy Sunday.

I so enjoy country life.  My family homesteaded east of here, in Colorado, we even have copies of the papers signed by Woodrow Wilson.  To this day, my great uncle still lives on the farm.  I can remember as a kid, how exciting it was to go look at all of the animals and I loved visiting the chicken coop.

Edna in the Morning
