Today I am back with this fun digi from Some Odd Girl- she's this month's freebie- Taurus Digi over at Some Odd Girl.

I colored this image with Spectrum Noir markers:, 

Skin- CR2, CR3, FS4, FS5, PP3

Dress: GB1, GB3, GB5, GB10, TN2, TN3, TN5, OR1, YG2

Hair: TN2, TN3, TN8 and horns- GB10

Eyes: IB2, IB3

Bell- IG1, IG3, IG5

Mug- BGR1, BGR3, BGR5

Drink- OR1, CT1, CT3

I used cardstock and pattern paper from my scrap bin.   Felt the colors were perfect!

Lastly I added a sentiment that I felt was perfect that I typed up.

Scripty Notes from 7 Kids Crafts and Mama Elephant

Today I am back with a fun card featuring Scripty Notes from Mama Elephant, our vendor of the month over at 7 Kids Crafts.  Use code "MAMA" to receive 20% off items in this category.    Our Product of the Month is Nuvo Drops.   Use the same code for that discount. 

I wanted to do something a bit different for this card.  I used the "you're my favorite" sentiment and stamped on an oval die from the Nested Oval Dies #1 from The Stamp Doctor.  

I cut a banner flag and scored it to create a fold and matted it behind my inside mat so that it would fold over.   I can completely close my card and have my sentiment closed, almost like a partial belly band.   

I added some flat back pearls and a few tiny dragonfly dies to my sentiment band and on the inside and also added a few smaller flat back pearls to the dragonflies as well.  

The finished product shows that you don't need a lot of elements to create a fun card and I love how it turned out.

Love Notes with Graphic 45 and 7 Kids Crafts

Today I am back with another fun project with 7 Kids Crafts.   A while back I picked up the Love Notes 12 x 12 Collection (I believe is out of stock in her shop currently) because I love everything Graphic 45 but did not have much of an idea on what I wanted to create.

A few posts back you will see a card I made featuring this paper, but today I share my favorite creation.

My husband and I are going on 10 years married and I have to admit I have slacked on scrapbooking the photos- scrapbooking any photos to be fair.  

I was looking at this paper and it dawned on me I had the perfect wedding photo.   This is one of my favorite photos for several reasons.   We were married in Vegas, with 50 family and friends joining us.     Me trying to save money opted for the “canned” music.   The day of the wedding they told us the couple before us had opted for the live piano player so he was there, and if we wanted him to play we just needed to pay him direct.     I was a nervous wreck as was and deferred to my husband to be.    He told my maid of honor it was my day and it was my decision.    We ended up with the live music- so this piano and the fact that my husband wanted the day perfect for me has my heart.

Now back to my creation.    I used some cardstock from my stash and a some red crystals I had.    I also used a resin charm I had in my stash to add the finishing touches.   I inked my pattern paper with Tim Holtz distress ink in black soot.

It’s a very simple (in my eyes) layout but one that will probably go in a shadow box as a great memory of that day!

Coffee Lover Mae from Some Odd Girl

Today I am back with a fun image from Some Odd Girl.   I decided since I am all about the coffee right now as we celebrate the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop with The Stamp Doctor, I would add this fun image in as well.

I used the Coffee Sayings 1 Combo from The Stamp Doctor.

I stamped the coffee cup 2x and colored with Copics:

E35, E33, E31

BG78, BG75, BG72, BG70

C1, C0

100- to use on all of the edges to remove the white border from the dies.

I used the A2 Layers Combo to cut my layers and Circle Frames Set 1 for my center frame and circle.

I cut a strip of Kraft Cardstock and ran through my paper crimper.  I inked the edges with Ranger Archival Ink - Coffee.  

I added some enamel dots from my stash to the card to add the finishing touches.

I inked the paper with Spectrum Noir - Parakeet.

 I added some gems from my stash and some glitter tape to the card to bring out the blue.  

I used the 3" Tag topper from The Stamp Doctor,  for the tag popping up.
