Chickens and Hens from Silly Shells

As long as I can remember, chickens and hens have been one of my favorite succulents.   Not sure if it is because I can manage to keep them alive, or the fact that they come in so many variations of color.   Today I am sharing Chickens and Hens from Silly Shells Designs on Etsy.  You can find the image here: http://etsy.me/2EUXPIe.

I wanted to color with purple accents as that is my favorite variation of the plant.   ( I think because purple is my favorite color)

I colored with Copic Markers.  

G82, G85, G94 and V04, V06 and V09.  - very simple marker wise.   

I used the G94 as the darkest line to add depth to the leaves.

Susie Sunshine from Connie Fong

Today I am back with Susie Sunshine from Connie Fong!  I just love this image!  She comes in 4 versions, balloon and no balloon and facing left and facing right.  Grab her here: http://etsy.me/2EgdmFc. 

I colored her with Promarkers and Copics.  I used my favorite skin combo- Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush and Almond.   I added Antique Pink and Baby Pink to her lips and Baby Pink to her cheeks.   

I used C1, C3, C5, C7 and 100 on her hair and a Copic Pitch Black for a little sparkle.   

Burgundy, Crimson, Lipstick Red and Carmine for her shirt, bow, balloon and shoes

C1 for the ruffle on her shirt

and Cobalt Blue and Powder Blue for her pants.

I used C1 and C3 for the vase.   Bright Green and Lime Green for the Leaves, and Baby Pink and Blossom for the Flowers! 

I added a few gems and flowers to the card from my stash, and thought the red heart reminded me of the balloon.

I added a few drops of Nuvo Morning Dew Drops to the leaves to make dew drops.

I just think that she is the cutest ever, and who doesn't like a chocolate Bunny.

I colored her with Copic Markers, ProMarkers and a still new set to me Shuttle Art Markers.   As I play more and more with these markers, I still really like them.   I would say they are up there with my Spectrum Noir markers and ProMarkers so I am very happy to have another fun set of Markers to use.

She is part of their curly girls collection.   As someone with straighter hair (who could never keep a perm) I just love her and her curls.

I colored her with a few ProMarkers and a new marker set I ordered to test called Color Super Markers.  They are alcohol based and I just love how they blended!!!
